JazzCats (Jazz Collection of Aggregrated Triples) is a protoype project, which uses Linked Open Data to bridge four previously unconnected but complementary datasets containing information about jazz music, in order to support musicological and historical analyses. It equips scholars with a tool to answer new kinds of research questions about performance traditions in a prosopography of musicians.
